Hope this message finds you doing well! This update is long overdue and there's a lot of information to share. Before jumping in to the details, I just wanted to say "thank you" for your support as we continue to navigate some unexpected twists and turns with our pajama project.
First, an update on your pajamas: The bad news is that we've had a rough time with manufacturing and it's caused some serious delays in delivering your pajamas. Our pajamas are luxurious, and with so many high-end trims and finishes the sewing process is more complicated than our USA-based manufacturers anticipated. They were unable to handle our production run. and this left us scrambling to find other options.
It's been a struggle to find a factory in the USA that can deliver the quality we promised at a price we can afford. Although it's taken some time, I'm happy to report we've finally found a solution.
Going forward we will be partnering with another woman-owned, USA-based pajama company and they have agreed to manufacture our Parker Gray PJS! I am thrilled to the moon and back to be partnering with a brand that I have long admired, with a CEO who has been my inspiration for many years, and a gorgeous product to boot. It means so much to me to be able to work with like-minded people.
What does this mean for you? Your pajamas are going to be delivered and they will be better than any of us could have ever imagined. We're sorting out a few final details on our partnership agreement and hope to have all of the pjs delivered to you by the end of 2017. Our new partner will also produce DONATION PJ'S for the domestic violence shelters that we are supporting and we plan to ship these jammies in early 2018.
There have been a few other factors that have contributed to the delay. I've also an unexpected career change and have accepted a position with Luna Venture Partners to lead a new accelerator for female entrepreneurs called Luna Startup Labs. We'll be launching our first accelerator for women-led companies in early 2018.
At the same time, I've also spent much of this year teaching women's entrepreneurship as an Adjunct Professor at American University's SIS program. This opportunity allowed me to travel to Pakistan over the summer, where I led a workshop and spoke at the 2017 Pakistani Women Entrepreneurs Program Summit, which was a joint venture between the US Department of State, American University and the Lahore University of Management Science. An exciting opportunity that helped me think about new and different ways I could support women entrepreneurs in the future...
Last but not least, for the past few months I've also been recovering from a nasty concussion; after I hit the back of my head in a careless accident in August. I wasn't paying attention and knocked myself silly when I hit the back of my head on the platform of an old fashioned lifeguard stand at my neighborhood pool. Head trauma is nothing to joke about, and its taken a few months for my brain to get back to normal. I spent several months in a fog it really impacted my ability to focus on things and manage this whole process.

Going forward I hope to post weekly updates between now and the end of the year. In our next update, early next week, I will share the name of our new partner as well as any changes to the color selection. Then I will be sure to double check your shipping information so your PJ'S get to you at the right address and we'll do everything possible to get them there before Christmas. If you need to "drop-ship" as a gift just let us know and we'll figure out a solution...

Hi everyone!
We're so happy to share that Parker Gray has hit its fundraising goal on Indiegogo. We're over the moon with all the wonderful feedback and support our pajamas are receiving. Thanks to you and all of your contributions, shares and likes, we are one step closer to making this dream happen!
Now that the campaign has ended, we're sourcing materials and getting ready for production. Today we’ll be sending out the BackerKit surveys, you can expect them to arrive at the email address linked to your Indiegogo account later this afternoon. Going forward, for those who will back the project after this update, you can expect your survey to arrive 10 days after your pledge.
Before we send out the survey, we want to share an update to the size chart: all of our long pants will now be offered in 3 lengths: a regular 32" inseam as well as a shorter 29" inseam and a longer 35" inseam. You will be able to select your preferred length in the BackerKit survey that will be sent later today!
We're so excited to start working on production and look forward to sharing more updates as we move forward. Please keep on sharing with your friends and family, Parker Gray will be on IndieGoGo's InDemand for the next few months and this will allow us to continue to accept contributions and generate even more one-for-one donations that will help support women in domestic violence shelters across the USA.
